Presenting him as a confidant of his brother Claus, as an outstanding international lawyer and as a follower of the poet Stefan George, this sketch gives shape and voice to the »quiet« Stauffenberg. Since his introduction to George, he has lived under his spell. In the »Third Reich«, the war crimes in particular led into active resistance by, above all, the criminal war of annihilation. After the failed assassination attempt of July 20, 1944, he was executed as one of the co-conspirators.
